By now we have shipped several hundred of our Garage Dolly units, and have had a lot of positive feedback from you. You have told us that you’ve been using them on all types of motorcycles.

We also received some feedback from those of you who have been using them on various “Adventure Bikes” with very tall seat heights. Those tall seat heights have made it challenging for some folks to straddle the bike and remove it from the chock on the dolly, or even just to get off the bike once it has been driven into it.

Our solution is the Height Assist Footrests. These are powder coated steel brackets that attach easily to the sides of the unit, and offer the user a place to plant their feet to help when getting on and off the bike by, in effect, making the bike’s seat height more than an inch lower, and to provide excellent leverage to remove the bikes from the Dolly.

Also, the Height Assist Bracket is great for people with short inseams (mine is 28”). I have found that the Bracket is a great help for me to remove my Triumph America cruiser bike, and my Ninja 650 sport bike from the Dolly. So if you find that you could use an extra bit of leverage when removing your particular motorcycle, this will be a solution for you as well.
